In Switzerland, a crowd of skiers turn their heads as a man flashes past – fast. Speeding skiers are nothing new on this slope but this man isn’t wearing skis; in fact, he doesn’t appear to be wearing much at all on his feet, which explains the puzzled faces.

If there is one event on the Sled Dogs calendar which really captures that special Sled Dogs Family feeling, it has to be the New Brunswick BONEFIGHT: We’ve had fantastic hospitality from all the countries we’ve visited but in New Brunswick, it really feels like the entire local community want to work hard to put on a great show.
Downhill Daredevil Jari-Pekka Rahkonen from Finland has set a new world speed record for snowskating. Following weeks of preparation at a specially chosen slope in Salla, Lapland, the Hockey-player clocked an eye-watering 115.27km/hr on Sled Dogs Snowskates.
